Dogs Diary

Hi my name is Oscar, I am a small dog and I came to my home as a very young pup, the first home I went to after the pet shop was fine but the kid was too young to look after me and with a new human in the house, the parents didn’t have time for me, I was unhappy.

Then I came to stay here for a few days while the family went away, well I love it, so decided to stay at first they had me stay outside at night I think they thought I would make a mess or something but I wasn’t going to do anything to upset them

Then they put this little hole in the door just so I could come and go as I needed.

I got a new bed, lots of room to run, plenty of food and drink, this is wonderful.

The other family came over lots to visit that was fine till the littlest human started to move round the floor it kept pulling my ears or tail Ouch!!! That would hurt so I would use my door to escape till it left.

Everything was wonderful they would take me in the big machine where I had to have this belt on but I couldn’t move very far, but when it stopped everything was changed, it was a place where there were others with 4 legs like me some the same size and others a lot bigger, and I wanted to go check everyone of them out, but the humans (who I now call Mummy and Daddy) had this other strap that stopped me getting too far from them so I just had to look

We would get back into the machine which transported us to another place. I found that when this happened for a long time it is called a holiday, it was fun and I accepted that I had to have the strap on all the time.

When we got back home it was good to be able to run free in my big yard but after meeting so many 4 legged friends I knew I was only a small Dog, but I was a little sad not having a mate with me.

Mummy and Daddy saw this so they told me they were going to get me a friend to play with and to keep me company when they took the big machine out (it’s called a car or a 4wheel drive).

Mummy told me they were picking up a very small dog that was called a puppy for me to play with so mum & dad left, they were away for a long time when the arrived back they had this tiny little thing, it’s black and white and its so small if I sat on it I would flatten it, what do they think I am going to do with that?

Well this was not a very good idea,daddy picks it up out of the box mum keeps it in all day and he’s nursing it IN MY SPOT on his lap this is not good …….well at least it hasn’t taken my bed it sleeps in another room in the box with mum .

Alright it’s ok so far I still have the love I have always had so I guess that small dog can stay but I will keep an eye on her,

Mummy called her Penny.

Well it’s been a while since Penny came to stay yeah I put up with her but she’s always taking my toys and taking MY Spot on daddy’s knee I know he still loves me but penny tells me she loves daddy the best.

Hehehe mummy & daddy don’t know it yet but Penny is on heat again but this time I got to her hehehehe .

Mummy found out penny has some babies they say she is too little yet so they take her away for a while when she comes back home she’s not happy it was the first time she had been away from home she has a scar on her tummy and she tells me she’s never going to have any babies now

OH Dear Penny really has grown now she’s such a bossy bitch, I just let her do her thing and I do mine but we watch out for each other, we have been together now 5 human years

Well its been a while since I came in to talk to you I am now 11 human years old and Penny is 8. For a few years Mummy and Daddy had been very busy running Tours to take people to see some of the other different animals here in Australia.

Now Daddy is working 5 days a week but Mummy is here with us all the time, and when she is working I am right there with her.

Last week Mummy brought some dirt with another bag of stuff (Blood and Bone) that smelt really good, as well as some plants to put into the garden, She dug up the garden put in some of the good smelling stuff turned it over and over then started putting the plants she brought into the ground.

Penny doesn't care to stay in the sun too long but I stayed out with Mummy.

When she went inside to talk into the hand held thing. I decided to give her a hand so I dug around in the dirt Just to help her, but gee that dirt tasted good so I ate some of it and just kept digging till Mummy came back. For some reason She didn't seem happy, then she asked me "where are my plants" Well I don/t know they just disappeared. I thought it was time I disappeared so I went inside.

When I came out later the garden had been tired up but there was only one plant there, Mummy had found a big tub got the big bag of dirt and put it in a big tub and put the other plants she hadn't put in the ground plants in it.
