The Outback Experience

For a truly authentic Australian holiday you can not miss the Outback, be ready for some hard work, to experience Australia’s heritage, you will need special driving skills and awareness of the vastly different conditions.

Life is not easy to live and work on the stations in the Remote wilderness areas they have very few towns or facilities, often you can driver for two days between them and not see anyone, so you must plan your trip carefully.

Letting your family and the local police know of your plans, advising them when you expect to arrive at your destination. Make sure your vehicle is in good mechanical condition and has been serviced recently, make sure your spare tyre is also in good condition. In some areas it is best to carry 2 tyres, also carry tools and plenty of water.

When traveling in remote areas off the major highways, take plenty of extra water, food and fuel then you can enjoy your Truly Australian experience.
